About me
I grew up in Orlando, Florida. I am the youngest of seven children. I am currently in my final semester at Florida International University as a psychology major. I hope to pursue doula midwifery in the future. Being the youngest of seven meant that my siblings all began to have children while I was still in grade school. This is what sparked my initial interest in childcare. After caring for my nieces and nephews, I ventured out and began working in different childcare positions in my area.
I became a babysitter for families at my alma mater, Lake Highland Prep, in 2017. As well as a summer camp counselor where I created activities for kids to have fun, while also incorporating something new for them to learn everyday. I was the nanny for a wonderful family with 3 children (8 years old, 3 years old, and a newborn) for 2 years, before becoming the nanny for another wonderful family with three children (aged 2 years old, 3 years old, and 4 years old). I have been in charge of potty training, meal prep, school pick up and drop off, as well as all other daily duties. My last job before my current was nannying twin toddlers (aged 9 months at the start). I was with them for almost a year. I am currently working with a family with three girls (aged 5, 10, and 14). Throughout these nannying positions I have been responsible for pick up, drop off, housekeeping, meal prep, and daily routines. I have also administered medicine daily for children with illnesses. I am focused on reaching milestones while maintaining a safe and calm environment for children to grow. As well as, meeting with parents to ensure that everyone is satisfied.
My goal is to help children become the greatest versions of themselves while cultivating skills in their interests. I believe that childcare should be approached with an open mind and flexibility as no child nor their needs are the same. I hope to continue down a path where my main focus is creating a safe environment for kids to be able to express themselves and learn.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I love to teach kids the basics of different art forms, so they have the chance to pick which one they truly resonate with. I also like to teach kids the basics of any sport they are interested in. Science experiments and crafts are also at the top of my list. I enjoy teaching kids adaptability while instilling confidence within them.
