About me

I grew up in Sag Harbor, NY as the oldest of four girls. Growing up, I was always a lover of all types of art, cooking and music.

I have been babysitting for ten years, and a professional nanny for almost four years. From a young age, I have always loved taking care of children. In High School, as a babysitter, I would care for children after school, for date nights, or other miscellaneous times. Once moving to NYC, I started doing more regular babysitting with responsibilities such as pickups from activities, preparing meals, and assisting with the bedtime routine. Additionally, in High School, I was a tutor in many subjects such as Math, English, and Science. I also participated as a volunteer mentor through the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program. In this program, I gave homework help and acted as a listening ear to a fourth grader. In my time as a childcare provider, I have worked with children ranging from newborns to age 12+. As a NYC nanny, I have extensive experience with transporting kids to and from school and various activities on public transportation, managing kids' busy schedules, arranging and facilitating playdates, bedtime routines, and much more. I have provided overnight care for various families for time spans of one night up to one week at a time. I am able to manage a busy and strict schedule, whether that is for an infant, toddler, or school-age child. I have been working with some families for upwards of six years, and have created a real bond with not only the children but the whole family.

I truly believe that children are some of the best people to be around. They are incredibly smart, funny, and inquisitive. As a childcare professional, it is my goal to make sure the next generation is brought up feeling loved, supported, nurtured, and challenged. It is such an honor to be a part of our next generation’s crucial years of development, helping them to become the best people they can be.
