About me

I am from Colombia, I lived in the capital of Bogota, and I have three siblings. I am the oldest from my childhood. I loved to play with them and be a good role model for them. We loved playing hide and seek, soccer, and table games and I always loved to read. I graduated from university with my bachelor's degree in Education and in Humanities and Languages. I have had the opportunity to teach for 4 years in my country. Then I pursued my dreams of traveling abroad to improve my English and then, I decided to stay in this wonderful country. I studied and became a nanny. I enjoy teaching kids, so for me it's perfect to take care of them, plus I am able to teach them a second language, if they want!

I have 10 years of experience taking care of kids! My last experience was full-time four days a week. I took care of a beautiful girl. I started when she was 7 months old and ended when she was 7 years old. I changed diapers, and warm milk bottles, took the stroller to the park, went for long walks, set play dates, took her to different classes like gym, music, and sensory. I made snacks, and lunches, read books, and let her get ready for bedtime. When she started school, I helped her with homework.

My second long experience was part-time, taking care of three beautiful girls. I worked for this family on weekends and some Mondays. I was an extra hand. Bring them to play dates, and extra classes, picking them up at the school, helping do homework, and of course, playing! We had a lot of fun together.

I love kids. I really enjoy taking care of them and becoming a role model for them, I always try to be updated on topics about education, activities, and plans. In this way, I can keep them in mind when I am working and have successful days. For me, it is always very important to build day-by-day and have a good relationship with love and good communication.
