About me

My name is Ariana, and caring for children has always been more than just a job—it’s my passion and purpose. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, as the middle child of five and was adopted from Guatemala as a baby. My own journey has given me a deep appreciation for family, connection, and the importance of nurturing young minds in a loving and supportive environment.

Two years ago, I moved to New York to pursue my degree in Early Childhood Education (Birth-2nd Grade) at Brooklyn College, while also working as a full-time nanny. I had the privilege of caring for a little boy from the time he was 9 months old until now—almost 3 years old. Watching him grow into a confident, curious, and independent child has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. As he prepares for preschool, I feel an overwhelming sense of pride, knowing that I played a role in his early development. Saying goodbye to this amazing family is difficult, as they have truly become like family to me, but I am excited to bring my experience and love for childcare to another wonderful family.

I have three years of nannying experience and five years of babysitting experience, primarily caring for infants and toddlers. I specialize in establishing structured routines that promote healthy sleep habits, proper nutrition, and developmental milestones. My responsibilities have included meal prep, bottle feeding and weaning, sleep training, sensory play, and organizing playdates to encourage social interaction. Additionally, I focus on gross and fine motor skills, language development, and social-emotional growth through interactive and engaging activities.

I am CPR and First Aid certified and prioritize safety and well-being in everything I do. I love incorporating outdoor exploration, music, reading, and hands-on learning into my care approach. Patience, warmth, and understanding are at the core of how I support children’s growth and emotional needs.

For me, being a nanny is more than supervision—it’s about creating a nurturing, stimulating, and loving environment where children feel safe and excited to learn. I am looking forward to connecting with a new family that values trust, communication, and the joy of early childhood. If you’re looking for a dedicated, experienced, and passionate nanny, I would love the opportunity to be a part of your child’s journey!
