About me

Hi there, my name is Elaina! I grew up in Rockland County, NY. I grew up with a sister, 2 years old than I am. I attended Brooklyn College and received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Since graduating college, I have been working various childcare jobs, at schools and with private families.

I have been working with kids for about 15 years now. My experiences come from working with children at various camps, after-school programs, long-term nannying positions, and recurring babysitting positions. I have experience with children of all ages, from when they're babies to when they're preteen. That being said, I am no stranger to the morning, afternoon, and bedtime routines. In addition, I also have experience taking public transportation with some of the children I've worked with - having to get to school, after-school programs, playdates, etc.

Working with children is like second nature to me at this point. I have been doing it for so long and I continue to do it because I truly love doing it. It's always fun allowing myself to get down to the children's level and into their headspace. Not only that, but I truly value the relationships I get to build with the families I work with.
