About me

Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, I was fortunate to have two amazing siblings, but what truly captivated me was the world of dance and art. This passion has been a constant flame within me, and I pursued it by obtaining my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the prestigious Parsons School of Design. Currently, I am pursuing my Master of Fine Arts degree in graduate school, and my educational journey has impacted the way I approach childcare.

My personal philosophy centers around fostering creative growth and expression in the children under my care. I have been working with children for the past seven years, and during this time, I have developed a hands-on approach that incorporates activities promoting enrichment and creative expression. I specialize in storytelling and enjoy creating innovative activities and projects, while also exploring nature with children to help them connect with the world around them.

I have experience working as a part-time and full-time nanny, tutor, date night sitter, and household manager, providing care for children aged 1-7, as well as infants and older children. I create a warm environment for the children I care for, and I hold CPR and First Aid certifications. I am proficient in scheduling and time management, knowledgeable in Montessori-based learning techniques, and have excellent communication skills.

My motivation for pursuing child-related work stems from my desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children. I believe that every child is unique and deserves to be treated as an individual, respected, and valued for who they are. As caregivers, it is our responsibility to provide them with the guidance and support they need to make informed choices and empower them.

My passion for art, nature, and creativity, combined with my dedication to working with children, drives my pursuit of child-related work. I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow, and I take great pride in being able to contribute to their development.
