About me

Hello my name is Tresha Miller. As a young child I always enjoyed working with children.I have over 20 years of experience in childcare and experience working in a daycare setting. I graduated from Empire State University with a bachelors degree in human service. I have many certificates in childcare. I have a baby specialty certificate. I am CPR certified. Since graduation I have been working as a baby specialty/nanny. I enjoy working with children.

With 20 years of experience working in childcare I have learned a strong foundation is key for successful adult life. I started my career working in a daycare. I went to college and I continued working in a daycare. Throughout college I have moved in different parts of the daycare ranging from two year old classroom to the kindergarten Classroom. I was an assistant teacher and a head teacher of all classes. Each age have different milestones that needs to be met. I would change diaper, potty train, teach social and emotional skills at a young age . I also worked in the office at a daycare. Working in the office I have encountered different ways of running a daycare and ideas of childcare influences. As I started with baby nursing I was asked several time to stay and be a nanny. I have experience bottle washing, bottle sanitizing, Nursery organization, sleep training, tummy time, umbilical cord, bathing, and keeping baby on a schedule. With my wide range of experiences working in the classroom and I do have a wide range of milestones that each child should have an a certain age. Baby specialty is my area of expertise, but my love for children runs to no end.

I love to read, and learn things about childcare. I like volunteering at my local library in the kids room. I taking new courses to enhance my level of education in childhood. Every child is different and needs an opportunity to learn and grow.
