About me

I am originally from Thailand and grew up as one of three children. Growing up, I enjoyed spending time and taking care of my siblings. I went to college in Bangkok and graduated with a bachelor's degree in English from RUS University. While I was in college, I worked in Bangkok’s international airport as a customer service specialist in the immigration department and as a teacher's assistant for a daycare. Post graduation I followed my passion for child development by joining the Au Pair program to further develop my English language proficiency and to learn more about the culture here in the US.

I’ve been living and working in child care for the last 7 years in NYC. I’ve worked in Brooklyn, Manhattan, East Hampton, and Queens.
In Brooklyn, I worked full time for a family with a 1 year old girl. Duties included preparing breakfast & lunch, assisting with daily care (feeding, diaper changes, etc), engaging through play and reading, teaching social manners, organizing play dates, taking her to the playground, park, and library. I also ran errands for the family before work which included buying groceries and necessities such as diapers, milk, and snacks for their daughter.
In Manhattan, I worked full time for a family with a 10 month old girl and a 4 year old boy during the school year and in East Hampton (live-in) during the summer. My responsibilities included being the family assistant (mom’s helper), pick up and drop off at school & extracurricular classes, supervising art & crafts, teaching social manners, organizing play dates, housekeeping & child laundry. I also took both kids to the playground, park, beach, and library.
More recently, I worked part time in Manhattan and Queens for two families simultaneously.
In Manhattan, I worked for a family with two boys ages 2 and 5, on Mondays and Thursdays.
At the same time, I worked part time in Queens for a family with a 10 month old boy on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
