About me

I grew up in the suburbs of New Jersey and fell in love with all things the arts from a young age. I was always acting, singing, dancing, and creating, and went on to earn my B.F.A. in Acting from Montclair State University. Graduating into Covid with very few acting jobs available, I ended up moving to Vermont for a year and being a Special Education Para-Educator. This experience shaped my life and my approach to childcare. I have recently moved back to NYC where I am auditioning, exploring the outdoors, and looking to find a new, amazing family to work for.

My mom was a Special Education teacher, so from a young age, I would spend many summers helping out at her summer camps and working with children of all different ages (3-12). I babysat throughout high school for families around the neighborhood and nannied all through college. In Vermont, I was a Special-Education Para for children ages 11-13. My duties included creating and executing lesson plans along with the head teacher, doing one-on-one with children with varying levels of special needs, and overall caring for each child's specific social and emotional needs. I then went on to work full-time for a family (a 3-year-old boy) whom I stayed with until they moved. Here, my duties included school pick-ups, fun activities focused on key developmental skills, and bedtime. I then worked for another wonderful family (5-year-old girl, 8-year-old boy) before moving to NYC. Here, I helped with school pick-ups, homework help, and providing entertainment.

Children always have been and always will be, an inspiration to me. Children can often teach us more than we know. It is my job as a nanny to not only provide a safe and caring environment, but to provide a compassionate and present one; one where the child can thrive, let their creativity run free, and feel comfortable being exactly who they are.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

Creating art in a multitude of mediums! TV, Film, Theater- you name it. I hope to (always) be working with people who inspire me to be a better artist and better human.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I love to create all types of art with children and to help them express themselves with different art forms. Painting, drawing, and arts and crafts. I know a bit of Spanish so I love teaching them the basics (and they usually catch on pretty quick!). I love taking children outdoors, as I find it can be one of the best playing grounds for imagination and sensory exploration. Overrall, I love to incorporate an equal balance of developmental and imaginative play.
