About me

I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and loved making art, writing, playing music, and doing sports. I went on to study Philosophy at the American University of Paris. I have since run a queer collective in Berlin, received my Masters from the Iowa Writers' Workshop, and have my first book coming out in June. Alongside these achievements, I have really enjoyed my time spent working as a nanny for several families.

I started babysitting when I was still in high school and began working as a manny when I moved to Paris in 2013. I worked for several families with children aged three to twelve. My responsibilities included getting them from school, engaging them in imaginative play, and teaching them English. I also worked as a part-time nanny for a family in Berlin for two children aged five and three. I also taught them English, helped prepare meals, and picked them up from school. I also worked as a nanny for a family more recently in London where my responsibilities included picking up and taking a seven-year-old boy from school, making art with him, and playing with him. I also took care of his one-and-a-half-year-old little brother. I would pick him up from nursery, feed him dinner and help the mom put him to bed. I have first aid and CPR certification that expires in August 2025 and offer fun, child-centered yoga, French, and creative writing classes to the children I take care of.

I love imaginative play and all things creative. I am also an active person and enjoy running around in the park as much as I do cozy up to share a good book. I love the open curiosity and honesty of children and love to create a safe place for them to have fun and grow.
