About me

I grew up in Brooklyn, NY as an only child. Growing up I always enjoyed dancing, singing, arts & crafts, and fashion. In my college career, I went on to major in fashion design but took a break and went back and changed my major to Early Childhood Education after working at a daycare.

I have several years of experience working with children of all ages in a variety of roles. I started babysitting at 15 as a part-time and date-night sitter, caring for children ranging from infants to pre-teens. I’ve worked with infants as young as 3 months old, changing diapers, bottle-feeding (warming breast milk and preparing formula), introducing solids, and engaging in sensory play.

In addition to babysitting, I’ve been a teacher’s assistant for kids aged 1-5 where I led circle time, arts and crafts, and other developmental activities. I also have experience as a tutor, helping elementary and middle school students with homework and reading skills.

I’m CPR/First Aid certified and have worked with children with special needs, including autism and ADHD. I also speak Haitian-Creole which I love incorporating into play and learning. My experience has made me patient, adaptable, and confident in handling the various needs of children at different developmental stages.

I love working with kids because of their curiosity, creativity, and energy. My approach is warm, patient, and engaging. I believe children thrive when they feel heard, encouraged, and safe. I enjoy incorporating my passions, like arts and crafts + games into activities, making each day fun and meaningful. I try to focus on fostering confidence, independence, and joy in every child I care for.
