About me
I grew up in the heart of the great plains, Tulsa, OK. Growing up it was just me and my older brother until my baby cousins came along and became a huge part of our family. I grew up playing pretend and exploring the outdoors with my brother and younger cousins. I moved to NYC after high school and began my college adventure at the American Music and Dramatic Academy. I graduated from there with my certificate in musical theater and began to audition relentlessly.
My parents held a bible study every Sunday, and me being the oldest one there eventually became the built-in babysitter. I fell in love with it instantly and began my childcare work through my church. I worked in my church's preschool as a summertime camp counselor and a part-time substitute teacher. My job included things like creating activities for the classes and prepping lunch boxes and snack bags. I worked with children of all ages ranging from infancy to five years old. I was also given the opportunity to nanny for a short time for a family with three kids. The youngest child was 8 at the time and the oldest was 13! When I moved to NYC I was offered. a position to join a nanny company and was able to work with several families with kids ranging from infancy to around 12 years old. During that time I changed diapers, took the kids to parks, taught the children a few dance moves, and loved every minute of it.
I believe that a child's mind is one of the most creative and interesting things on this earth. I believe that is why I work so well with kids as a creative mind myself. I find that instilling a love of art and music is one of the most important things you can teach a child (not to mention it's such a blast to see what ideas the kids can come up with). It is my goal to make sure your child has a fun and safe environment to let their ideas be heard and come to life.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I love to teach kids music. It could be singing, trumpeting, reading, and eventually understanding the different notes that different instruments can make. I love tap dancing, and I really love to color!
