About me

I grew up between Brooklyn and Long Island, coming from a blended family, as the eldest child of five. At a young age, I was always in the kitchen with my grandparents/parents which is where I fell in love with cooking and the culinary arts. Although I pursued a career in restaurant management- food has always been my medium to express myself. Art has always been a passion and a study of mine, and I also carry that creativity with me. While in university, I was promoted to manager of one of celebrity chef Bobby Flay's restaurants and continued to grow with the company for 10 years before making my way back to nannying and house management.

I started working as a babysitter in high school, a natural progression from helping with and caring for my sibling and cousins. I would babysit for neighborhood families and neighbors working with children from newborns to 17 years of age- professionally I have cared for children 14 months to 10 years of age. It is important to me to work on things with the children such as potty training, the first day of school, starting school in general, homework help, dance classes, sports, reading and writing, nutrition, cooking, art, and daily hygiene/grooming; as a full-time nanny, part-time nanny, travel nanny, on-call babysitter, date night sitter.

Constantly on a journey of self-identity, emotional intelligence, and being my true self helps me to be a positive influence in the community. "Treat others the way you want to be treated" resonates with me and I instill that in children as well. My approach to childcare is gentle with structure; I believe it is my job to become an extension of the parents to fully support the children.
