About me

A native Seattlite, I grew up surrounded by nature, music, and the infamous PNW rain. Along with my two older brothers, I grew up running from basketball to soccer to track practice during my entire childhood. My family prioritized being active and laughing as much as we can- two things that stick with me in my adulthood. I graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor's in history as well as women's studies. My primary focus during my academics was on teaching and youth mentorship so working with young teens and high schools come quite naturally for me. Since graduating, I have been continuing my years of experience in professional childcare until I feel financially able and ready to go back to grad school to focus on early childhood development. As you can tell, being surrounded by children and working with the next generation is my top priority!

I began my childcare experience at the age of 14, I have an immense amount of experience that offers all types of ages, family dynamics, and requirements for my own adaptability. Most recently I worked for a professional family in Brooklyn with two boys ages 1 and 3. I began work for them in the spring of 2021 and continue to provide childcare part-time now two years later. Together, we have successfully potty trained, developed valuable motor skills, and created lasting memories for their boys. I accompanied them on a two-month-long trip in Europe as their full-time nanny, offering meal prep, activity planning, and childcare for the boys. While working with this family, the second son was born so my experience with infants is not only recent but it is extensive as I am his primary nanny throughout the week for the last year. Though this is my most current role, I have held titles such as basketball coach, mentor, teacher, babysitter for daytime and date nights, camp counselor...and so on!

Sincerity, I am a fun and honest person. I love getting to know anyone and everyone. I love learning people's stories and making their lives easier where I can. I value community and integrity, sticking up for the right values, and being a reliable and loving figure to the young people in my life.
