About me
Hi there, Parents!
My name is Maria Daniella! I was born in Queens, East Elmhurst. My parents are from South America. I am fluent in Spanish. I have 2 siblings, my brother, Mateo who lives with me, and my sister, Margarita who resides in Denver. Growing up, I would care for my younger brother when my parents would go to work. I learned to cook at a young age in order to help care for my younger brother. I am very much a homebody, but I do enjoy traveling. I love visiting my sister out in Denver because we do all sorts of activities with my niece and nephew. We typically go out hiking, fishing, and lakes. I love the outdoors and any kind of activity that takes place outside. I love to work out in the mornings because it sets the tone for my day. I typically meal prep for the week. It’s a lifestyle. I’m someone who likes to be in know, so I research and read a lot to educate myself on things I am interested in. I dabble in a couple of different trades that I enjoy.
I attended Queensborough Community College for 2 years and graduated with my Associate's Degree. During college, I took short courses involving kid development, I have taken a CPR certification and First Aid. I do it yearly to stay updated. I am currently taking courses through The Department of Health to help kids with their sleep development. I have also taken IBLC class, a Lactation class for first-time moms who are breastfeeding and the importance of breastfeeding, and a safety class on how to keep them safe in and outside of the home.
Therefore, I'd be able to enrich the store of knowledge and experience. The most important thing to me as a child provider– I'd like very much to be useful, to help them grow and support them, now more than ever kids need guidance. I truly love working with young kids, and I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow and teach. I would love the opportunity to be your nanny and help you raise your little ones. I look forward to meeting with you!
