About me

I grew up in central Illinois in a college town and loved it. I loved it so much that I came back after college in 2016. I was an active kid, always having an extracurricular activity to go to. Especially musical/ play practice, or volleyball. I loved both of those things so much that’s why I studied sports broadcasting and theater.

I started my nanny career in 2017 and that is what brought me back to Champaign-Urbana. I was a live-in nanny at the time for a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old. I loved it and was with the family for about 8 months. I cooked cleaned, did the family's laundry, and helped with party planning and catering plans weekly/ monthly for the family. I then worked for the University of Illinois as an extra-help/ assistant teacher in their 2-year-old classroom at the child development lab and was there for another 8-9 months.

After that, I nannied on and off for a lot of families. Before finding a great fit with the McDaniel family in 2020. I was their nanny, house manager, PA, cook, and house cleaner! I did it all, and really enjoyed it! Their kids were 3 & 5 when I started! At the end of the summer of 2022, I decided I wanted to be a live-in nanny again, but it worked out that I would sign a 4 month contract and stay in Champaign to get through the holidays. I’ve been with a 20-month-old since! Over the last 2 years, I have also been a regular on-call nanny for 3 separate families with ages ranging from 2-10! All that to say I love what I do! I truly love being a nanny and it brings me so much joy and purpose in my life. To be able to love on and help the families I work for thrive and to have a hand in it!
