About me

Hello families! My name is Rosa. I’m an easygoing person who enjoys the simple things in life. I pride myself on my integrity and honesty. I adore spending time with children and have 10 years of experience caring for infants/ toddlers and older age groups. I currently work as an Educational Paraprofessional for the Department of Education for NYC. Not only am I patient, caring, and nurturing, but I am also extremely organized and very detailed when it comes to housework. I can be flexible with availability as well. I actually enjoy tidying up while the children are napping or playing. I like to play, use creative play, use my imagination, be active, read, and have fun with children. I also really enjoy challenging kids and adding educational aspects to play, asking children why and how, and taking their knowledge and understanding one step further. I think every child has such great potential and I thoroughly enjoy getting to know every child as an individual and having their needs met. I really enjoy seeing how children's minds work and think there is so much we can learn from children! As a caretaker for your children, I believe safety is my number one priority. I believe a quality babysitter puts children as their first priority, especially their safety, is a positive role model and assists the children in coming up with fun and exciting activities so the night is a fun and positive experience! I look forward to establishing positive relationships with you and your family!
