About me

I grew up in Brooklyn, NY. I have two sisters and of the three I am the oldest. The thing I enjoyed most as a child is when school was out for the summer and I got to go on vacation to Grenada, visiting my family and getting to relax was what I enjoyed most. Later on in life, I did some college I was pursuing a career in Early Childhood Intervention when I had gotten pregnant with my daughter and life took me in another direction and a couple of years later I started working as a nanny.
For nine years I've worked with children ages ranging from newborn to 6 years old. My very first permanent position started when their son was 2 months old and ended when he was 4 years old! Starting off, my responsibilities were to give him breast milk bottles, change diapers, go to classes, park runs, and make breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We also played with toys and engaged in several at-home activities together. I worked full-time and did overtime and weekends when asked. If I had to I would classify my childcare skills as exceptional, though I am fun-loving, and down to earth, I take my job VERY seriously.
Once given the opportunity, my day would be spent interacting one-on-one with the child/children reading, singing, going to the library, museum, zoos, or whatever the parents will desire. I use play dates and daily trips to the park as an introduction to social skills. I have a great sense of humor and am dedicated with A LOT of patience. Possessing these skills has taken me far in my previous years of being a nanny. I am a very easygoing and hard-working individual who works in a professional manner and takes great pride and joy in my work. I have the utmost respect for anyone I am working for. Making sure that your child/children are safe with a reliable and nurturing, competent person is important and I am that person. I can assure you that with me your child/children will be loved, cared for, protected, and entertained at all times.
No task is too big for me and I assure you that I can be a great asset to your family. Your family would 100% get a nanny filled with lots of love and one who maintains a cheerful environment. Anyone you would talk to would describe me as very warm, kind, fun, loving, RELIABLE, and PUNCTUAL. Every day brings joy to me knowing that the care I offer is well received and the little ones that I am caring for and the family are HAPPY. These past years in this profession have made me highly proficient when it comes to making your family's day-to-day easier.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

In the next 5 years, I see myself becoming an expert after perfecting the role as a nanny. I also see myself opening up at least two major daycares in my birth country of Grenada for struggling families.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

Outdoor activities are fun and are also a good form of exercise. Going to the park, taking walks, singing, and reading. I also prepare meals for the children which I also enjoy. I teach common skills like communication, critical thinking, self-control, problem-solving, and potty training.
