About me

I am a California-raised girl finding my way in the city of New York! I was raised in San Diego but have been living and working in Los Angeles for three years. I moved to New York to focus more on theater. I'm the second oldest of 6 kids and recently became an aunt for the first time. I love musical theatre and dance. My youngest sibling is 17 years younger than me so I grew up helping my mom with my siblings.

I earned a BA in music in 2010. In addition to my 10+ years of nanny experience I've also taught dance for several years. My dance background is in classical ballet and I love the structure and discipline that the art gives to children. I've taught ballet, jazz, tap, and ballroom. I think music and creativity should be a part of everyday life for children.

My first and longest experience as a nanny was for a family with two boys. They were 4 years old and 3 months old when I started working with them. I watch them for 6 years and by the end I was a personal assistant for the parents, working in their office during the day and doing after-school childcare for the boys.

My previous jobs besides babysitting have mostly been in customer service and retail. I'm detail oriented and love finding creative alternatives to getting things done. I find these skills partner well with babysitting because so often parents need not just a babysitter but a personal assistant who can help with errands and deadlines when they aren't around to take care of things themselves.
