About me

Hello, Nice to meet you!
I am a Childcare Professional with over 10+ years of experience ranging in many different roles and teaching environments. I started in this field as a swimming teacher and swim coach. I went on to work in summer programs as a summer camp leader and eventually became the Executive Director of the program a few years later. After that, I worked as an after-school teacher for many years and taught a wide range of subjects (elementary-level Math, Science, Japanese Language, Arts & Crafts, Cooking, etc.). And most recently in the education field, I was a Program Coordinator for a Community Hub that's main goal was to help students with special needs re-integrate back to in-person learning. During my many years in the field, I also worked as a nanny part-time. I had the pleasure of working for two families spanning 6 years and saw their children through many big developmental transitions. I enjoyed the many years I spent teaching but also really came to love nannying because it allowed me to make much deeper connections with the children I cared for as well as play a bigger role in their mental/emotional growth.
