About me
I’m 40 years old and left handed. I grew up in Florida, I have 4 younger siblings and one older brother and two step siblings , so I have lots of experience with kids including twins. I love animals and being outdoors. I have a Child Development Associates Equivalency from Polk Community College in Lakeland Florida. I have been working with kids most of my life. As a child I loved animals and going to the beach. I loved following my older brother around and he and doing what he did. He taught me how to play soft ball and frisbee and chess. I also enjoyed baking with my mom and learned and loved baking and cooking, although Im a better baker then cook. My dad taught me how to grill and how to hike and all about geocaching. I have taken several of my past nanny kids geocaching and they love it. I love to swim. I’m also a bit of a geek. I know some programming, I like mobile games, I love chess and other board games. I enjoy reading and writing and have a little artistic ability. I learned to paint watching Bob Ross. When I was younger I worked at summer camps helping teach kids to swim and not be scared of water and to respect nature and animals. As I got older, I babysat most weekends and most of the summer. I feel I have always been the responsible sibling out of all my siblings .
I have professional child care experience with...
- Infants
- Toddlers
- Preschoolers
- School-aged (K-5)
- Twins
- Multiples
In 5 years, I hope to be...
I hope to still be nannying, and maybe be a mom if it’s in the cards for me.
Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I love reading with kids, and teaching them about the environment and even do fun experiments like growing beans sprouts. I love helping them reach each milestone as they grow. I also love doing fun artistic projects with kids and the parents also seem to love it.
