About me
I grew up in the tiny state of Rhode Island as the youngest child. I fell in love with singing, dancing, and acting; always performing whenever I could! I went on to study and graduate with my BFA in Musical Theater from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music.
During college, I frequently worked OST part-time. My duties included helping with homework, playing games, preparing and giving snacks, and developmental projects. In 2019, I was a Musical Theater Specialist Counselor. Every week we would host our own musicals! I was also a Lead Staff for the YMCA's Pre-K program. Some of the children I worked with had Autism, ADHD, and developmental delays. My main responsibility was making sure they had a fun and safe summer while working on building their confidence skills to help them transition into Kindergarten! Last summer I was a part-time nanny for a family with one boy who was three months and one girl who was two years old. My duties included feeding them, changing diapers, and age-appropriate play. I was also a nanny for a family with two boys, one being eight weeks old, and the other a year and a half. My duties included feeding, nap time, tummy time, diaper changes, reading stories, playing games, and helping both boys get ready for bed. I have also babysat for a little boy who was 5 months old on a few occasions. I was on call whenever they needed help. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I have 30 hours of training from Praesidium Academy regarding bullying, abuse, and youth development. I am highly organized, I pay a lot of attention to detail, and I am someone that people can count on!
I love to say that being around children rejuvenates my spirit because it's true. As an actor, I get to play a lot. Play pretend, play dress up. As a childcare worker, I also get to do that. It's an incredible feeling to be able to put two of my biggest passions together. Watching children grow has to be another one of my favorite parts of this work. I think back to the children I watched as infants now growing up into walking, babbling, tiny adults! I want to become a part of helping them navigate the world and create a lot of special memories together.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
I love to teach my love of singing, acting, and dancing. I love showing children that even as an adult, your imagination never goes away. I love to share with children emotions and teach them it's okay to share theirs and how to regulate that. I love helping with homework time and developmental skills in infants!
