About me
Growing up in Puerto Rico, I was always a very active child, constantly using my imagination to create and play. Art, dancing, sewing, and reading were some of my favorite pastimes. After completing my Bachelor's in Biology at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, I volunteered as a teacher's assistant for two years and fell in love with child care and education.
Being part of a big family with many young siblings and cousins, I was trusted with taking care of them and loved every moment of it. Along with my studies, I worked as a babysitter, nanny, and teacher's assistant. I started babysitting for tourists on the island after high school and then became an after-school nanny for 1-year-old and 4-year-old girls. I was responsible for school pick-ups, homework, playtime, dinner, bath, bedtime, and teaching them Spanish. I also took them to extracurricular activities and supervised them at the pool and beach. As a babysitter for two girls aged 4 and 10, I provided dinner, bath, and entertainment while the parents enjoyed their date nights.
I had the opportunity to be a travel nanny for three girls aged 8, 10, and 11 who lived in Indianapolis while their parents were on a work trip. I drove them to and from school, helped with all assignments, and took them to their practices and games. I prepared breakfast, snacks, and dinner, helped with basic housekeeping, and practiced Spanish with them. Additionally, I nannied for a 2-month-old boy, where my duties included feeding, laundry, cleaning, diaper changing, and taking him on walks. I also provided tummy time, playtime, and prepared his meals once he started eating solids. I was responsible for his bedtime routine and stayed overnight whenever the parents needed me.
I have a passion for being a nanny, knowing that I can contribute to a child's formative years and help them become well-rounded individuals. It brings me joy to create a happy and nurturing environment where children can thrive and be their best selves.

In 5 years, I hope to be...
In the next five years, I aim to establish a daycare center in Puerto Rico, with the goal of offering top-quality childcare and education to the next generation of children. My vision is to create an environment where children can learn and grow, while feeling happy and comfortable in their surroundings. As a childcare provider, my aim is to create a space where parents can trust that their children are receiving the best possible care and support for their development. My philosophy is that children are the future, and I am committed to helping shape them into the best version of themselves through my work.
Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
In terms of activities and skills, I have a few favorites that I absolutely love to teach and share with children. For example, I'm passionate about passing on my knowledge of making clothes to young ones. Additionally, I'm fully fluent in Spanish and would be thrilled to teach them this beautiful language. As a creative person, I also enjoy showing kids the basics of watercolor painting, sewing, and crocheting. The truth is, I simply love teaching and find it incredibly rewarding, so any new skills I pick up along the way, I'd be more than happy to share with them.
