About me

I grew up in Bloomfield, CT as the middle child. I found my love for theater after seeing The Lion King for the first time. I was a shy child! I actually did not find the courage to perform until my father signed me up to audition for a production of Seussical Junior. Little did I know I would go on to spend the rest of my life pursuing a career in the theater!
The summer before college I began to work with Hartford Stage’s Education program where I assisted in directing shows, stage managed, and taught classes. This included kids from the age of 5-18 and is where my passion for working with children began!
I am a 2020 graduate of Emerson College where I receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre & Performance! While in Boston, I babysat a 3-year-old girl part-time when her mother needed to work or attend events in the later afternoons on weekdays and some weekends. During breaks and holidays, I'd return home to Connecticut where I babysat a young boy who is currently 9 years old. This was also a part-time situation, I often did this to fill in the times when their full-time nanny was not available. After graduating I worked as a full-time nanny where I would watch a 7-year-old girl as she learned remotely. This transitioned to a part-time position when school reopened.
Childhood is such a fundamental part of our lives, that’s when you are most influenced to become who you are as an adult! I really enjoy sitting, for this reason, the ability to watch young humans evolve and develop into who they truly are. I think it’s quite beautiful to be a part of those uplifting and empowering moments!
