About me
Hello my name is Tiana, I am the mom of a very charismatic 5-year-old boy, an 13-year-old bonus son, and a highly energetic Maltese. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and currently reside in the Crown Heights area. I grew up in a two-parent household with my older sister and younger brother. Growing up we did not go to many places but instead, we enjoyed playing together using our imagination and exploring our neighborhood and I love sharing that sense of play with the children in my care as a nanny. Most days whenever we weren’t in school my older sister and I, usually started our day with our favorite game which was playing imaginary house or imaginary school. She loved being the mom and as you probably can already guess I was ecstatic to play the role of the teacher. I can definitely say proudly that in comparison to my other siblings, I am the most energetic and exploratory. I spent most of my childhood running, swimming, and climbing.
I have a deep passion for working with children as a nanny, and especially love working with babies! I am pursuing my Associate's in Early Childhood Education, which I am two classes away from graduating, and then going into Behavioral Science. However, my classes are flexible, and I'm happy to work around your schedule! I am also CPR certified.

In 5 years, I hope to be...
A guidance counselor for junior high school children ages 11-13 years old. I found this time in my life to be the most difficult transition from childhood to young adulthood and I believe with the proper guidance and support system I was able to overcome a lot of obstacles which I would love to provide for other youth at that period of time.
Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
Activities I love to do with children are arts & crafts and music & movement. I think these activities are very expressive in body movement and emotional intelligence. The arts have infinite possibilities and no “Right” answer so I feel it’s a stress free, fun activity that works wonderfully when bonding and establishing trust with young children.
