About me

Hi! My name is Allison Cassano. I grew up and still currently live in Plainview, NY. I am the oldest of three kids (and three dogs). I grew up playing every sport I could fit into my schedule, and I was planning on playing lacrosse in college until I injured my hip. I spent my first semester of college at Adelphi studying to be a Math teacher, I had a change of heart and now I am currently studying Architecture at the New York Institute of Technology. I love teaching/playing sports with the kids I babysit, doing crafts, and helping with any homework/studying.

I have experience with children from 6 months old to 11 years old. In my past jobs, my responsibilities included supervising children, helping with homework, preparing snacks and meals, bathing and bedtime, carpooling, light cleaning, and crafts and activities. I have been a date night sitter, part-time sitter (multiple days a week), and tutor. I also took 3 years of American Sign Language in high school!

I have always loved working with kids and I love watching them learn and grow! I have always loved being able to make kids happy and allowing kids to have fun!
