About me

I was born in the Dominican Republic, I came to The USA at only six months of age. It was extremely important to my parents to have my siblings and me grow up knowing our culture, they had us live half the year in the US half and in my native county. I had an amazing childhood, growing up I had two distinctive interests Science and Arts. In college, I love children, and their ability to make everything fun, that’s one of the reasons I became a nanny. Im excited to help Families raise the next generation.

I’ve worked as a nanny for 12+ years now, and I have to say I love it. To this day I’m close to every child I’ve ever worked with. I have experience working with kids ages newborn-13 years of age. My last long-term Nanny job started in 2017-2022. The child was 5 years with Down syndrome, my duties included picking him up from school, preparing meals, taking him to after-school activities, and helping him with his Speech, physical, and OT therapies. Before that I was the Nanny to a 6month old beautiful girl, my job included feeding her, scheduling play dates, keeping her areas clean and organized diaper changes, and making sure to only speak Spanish to her. I believe it’s of most importance to teach children about emotions and feelings and how to learn to cope with them, if they’re able to understand and work with them it’s easier for them to learn and follow instructions.

Aside from being a nanny, I am a makeup artist, I’ve worked in fashion week and some tv shows. I love being able to express my creativity with makeup, I enjoy painting and baking, and I basically love anything that lets my creativity flow. I played volleyball, and baseball since I was a little girl. The best part is I now get to enjoy these things with my Son, and all the kids I’ve worked with. I think children are the most creative beings and I love to explore that side of them, I always find ways for them to let be creative.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I’m an extremely creative person and I always try to bring that to my kids. I love having them learn new ways to let their creativity flow. I’m also a baker and I love to cook, I enjoy having kids help me with their meals and baking some cookies, or cakes for special occasions. And of course, I love to teach my kids Spanish I think it’s extremely important to be bilingual, especially in this country.
