About me

My name is Boundi, I am from West Africa, Mali, and grew up in New York. I am the oldest of 9 siblings. Went to BMCC to study early childhood education. Helping my mother raise my siblings since I was 13 years old made me realize that I simply love children and enjoy helping them learn and grow at every stage of their young lives.

My strengths as a nanny are that I am a very responsible, reliable, and caring person. I am passionate about furthering my time in the Nanny field so that I can continue doing what I love and broadening my experiences. I believe that children should be given the ability to become independent individuals by setting limits with positive discipline, praise, and encouragement. I enjoy being surrounded by children because of their imagination, innocence, and creativity.

I have experience working with children of all ages, from infants to school-aged children.

The family I have worked for full-time ranges from ages 16 months old to 7 years old. Responsibilities included management of the weekly family schedules and children’s extracurricular activities, transporting the children to and from their respective activities, promoting and engaging in educational games, reading, and activities, and tidying up after the children to ensure a clean play and living area, overseeing home deliveries, errands, children's meal preparation and clean-up Assisting with homework and children's laundry

I love being active in the outdoors and enjoy taking children on outings as well as staying home with them to do fun projects and activities.I am also fluent in French. I also enjoyed cooking and cleaning.
