About me

Hello there! I grew up in beautiful upstate New York with 3 siblings and more cousins than I can count- so you can say I've been in childcare my entire life. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at SUNY Fredonia (Summa Cum Laude) in 2019 and have been working in theatre and education since graduation! I started occasionally babysitting once I hit 13 years old with neighborhood children and eventually became a staple in many families' lives. My first long-term position was with an infant (around 4 months old when I first met him). I was in charge of essentially every task you could think of from the second he woke up to when he fell asleep for the night M-F. I changed, fed, bathed, entertained, implemented sensory play, brought him on long walks and so much more. My most notable and recent nannying position was with two-year-old twin girls who I took care of during the height of the pandemic while their parents worked. I too took care of their every need and met them at their level while introducing dance, theatre, music, arts and crafts, and more. Throughout my life, I have worked in education with children K-12 including but not limited to: substitute teaching, running a vocal studio, and working full time in theatrical education with Charleston Stage Company. I play many instruments, know basic ASL, am certified in first aid and CPR, and am a pretty excellent baker if I do say so myself. I value honest communication, genuine interactions, dependability, and loyalty. I understand your children are your world and I will make it my top priority to ensure their safety and mental well-being while also having the best time. Thank you so much :)
