About me

Hello, my name is Noel, and I have a passion for caretaking! I grew up and graduated high school in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. Between high school and my college experience, I have always done part-time babysitting and felt involved with the fulfilling feeling of being such a large part of children's lives at the moments when their families need it most!

With former experience watching children ages 5 months to 12 years old, children with disabilities, live-in, and up to 3 children at once, I have a very well-rounded grasp of childcare in all its non-linear glory. I have stayed with families anywhere between 3 months to 3 years! Dedicated to making my time spent with children fun while responsible, with additional learning experiences when they are presented. I have maintained set schedules based on feeding, diaper changing, nap time, educational activities, and school work; bath-time, potty training, and playtime. I cook and meal prep, and I am very health savvy and aware of dietary needs and allergies for all children. I love nature and the outdoors, so I am always looking for a sunny day for playground visits, long walks in or out of the stroller, and any outdoor activities. I love planning fun days and finding new things around the city to keep our days busy! I have been a full-time nanny, part-time nanny, language teacher, date night sitter, and au pair/live-in nanny, with each experience different from the next, I am confident in my abilities to be the best nanny and show up for children in a completely authentic way!
I have had many jobs since the age that I could work, and have always come back to being a nanny. There are very few words to describe the fulfillment that caretaking has given me, and I learn more about myself with each new day and experience in this profession. Childcare has taught me patience, gentleness, consistency, mediation, and most importantly, to never lose touch with your inner child! I am excited to continue to grow with SmartSitting!
