About me

I possess the INTJ personality type, known as "the Mastermind", 2% or 3% of the population. We are a treasure and if you find us, please do not let us go!

As I child, I very curious of my surroundings, intelligent, observant, and a learner. Loved to help and give away things. Loved to collaborate in projects within a team and if someone was behind, I encouraged and provided what they needed. Loved nature and people, and I still do these things today : )

In my early 20, I graduated with an associate degree in Healthcare administration and continued studying throughout the years. CPR and First aid certified, one trimester of music, one trimester of painting, candle elaboration classes, and 2 trimesters of kitchen classes. Recently, I have obtained certificates in Lactation consultant classes, newborn specialist classes, all about green/organics certificate, and children in the Autism spectrum certificate. I have taught myself sign language and took classes with Lovevery about tummy time and Baby-led weaning.
I have been in the nanny industry for 9 and a half. Experience ranges from newborns to preschoolers. I have also worked for a short period of time with the other age groups until their pre-teens years; within a nonprofit organization, with teens and young adults too.
I arrive early in the morning at the house and prepare the spaces and things to be used for the day. I always have a song in my mind and my lips. Can be very spontaneous with unique greeting mornings. I am outside almost every day. I like to be prepared ahead of time. I check the weather and plan accordingly. Buy Amazon supplies during the weekend for the week's classes.
Have been present during their first: First tooth, first walk, first words in Spanish, and the first time they learn to play a sport or ride a scooter.
Have trained babies to sleep and made modifications during the next stages as well. Have attended to them during difficult times, and visits to the doctor, provided solutions, and emotional support, and maintained toys cleaned and sanitized.

I have come to the realization that nannies have so much power and capabilities beyond what they think. The power to shape a generation is in our hands today. The change we want to see in society needs to be taught and reflected in our children. Discipline, structure, consistency, the right words, and the right activities to advance and develop their brains are the necessary tools to succeed. We can do so much more with our children and for them. It is essential to teach core values while they are little, like telling the truth, forgiveness, patience, and compassion. Their persona and voice can grow based on that foundation.
I believe our playgrounds are full of leaders and I treat them as such.

In 5 years, I hope to be...

a nanny, applying all the knowledge learned throughout the years. In 10 years, I see myself with a PhD in Psychology, counseling families.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I use a mix of learning methods. Inside the house, I tend to follow the Montesorri approach and gentle parenting. While they are babies, I teach music and help them to control emotions with music therapy and baby massage. I exercise their brain with Spanish language immersion. Teach sign language basics. Love outdoor activities and visiting new places with them. Like to see children being independent, in motion, exploring the environment, and asking questions. Listening to audiobooks while doing crafts, I think prepares them to multitask. I also approve, of "doing nothing time" for the last minutes during the day. Creativity emerges from boredom.
