About me

Hi there! My name is Audrey Loomis, and I grew up in Austin Texas. I have a little sister who is 10 years younger, so I have always been very comfortable around babies and children. I feel like I grew up nannying, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I received my degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Theatre. I moved to NYC after graduating in 2020, and I have been involved in the theatre scene and childcare ever since.

Back in Texas, I spent a couple of summers teaching a children's theatre summer camp. I taught kids of different ages, ranging from 4-12 years old. In a week, we would put together a shortened version of a popular musical, and played many theatre games along the way. Since moving to New York, my nannying experience has been primarily with babies and toddlers. I have worked with three different families in the past couple of years, all of whom had children under 3. My longest job was over a year and a half, with a little girl who was 8 months old when I met her and almost 2.5 when I finished. I have experience with changing diapers, supervising meal times, giving bottles, nap time, baths, bedtime, playing games, reading books, trips to the playground, and riding public transportation with a child.
