About me

I grew up in Wake Forest, North Carolina, and come from a family of seven children! I fell in love with singing and acting at a very young age, which lead me to move to New York City where I’ve studied acting and arts at numerous conservatories. In addition to singing, I also play guitar, piano, and a bit of ukulele! I love to incorporate music into my caregiving and find it’s a wonderful way to connect with children!

I started my childcare career in high school babysitting, volunteering with children, teaching summer theater camps, teaching music classes for toddlers, and working in children’s theatre. As I was homeschooled in high school, I had the availability and opportunity to start my childcare career very young and spend a lot of time working with children, where I found that’s where my passion lies! Since then I have gone on to work with children from infants to 11 years old! I have worked for a number of families as a full-time nanny, part-time nanny, and consistent babysitter, and have kept strong relationships with every family I’ve ever worked for. Currently I am working as a Behavior Technician part time in the evenings, working with autistic children implementing therapy to help them learn coping skills and communication skills so they can thrive.

As a caregiver, I firmly believe in treating children with respect and being a safe space for them. As they grow, learn, and explore, I strive to be there rooting them on and helping them succeed. I consider it an honor to help raise our next generation- they are our future!
