About me

I began working as a nanny in NYC while studying at NYU’s Steinhart School of Education. After receiving my Bachelor of Science degree, I chose to continue my nanny career, which has proven to be one of the best decisions and greatest gifts of my life.

After more than 20 years of experience, I am now an elite nanny for high-profile families in NYC. My passion and enthusiasm for working with children is unparalleled. I lovingly provide the highest quality of care and fill children's days with endless opportunities for learning, exploration, and fun. I also conduct myself with a degree of confidence, sophistication, maturity, and discretion only held by a consummate professional.

My childcare approach is informed by my knowledge of child development and psychology and is tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each child and family. I incorporate Montessori and Reggio learning principles and methodologies into all daily activities and believe they are the greatest tools for fostering curiosity, confidence, and trust. This learning style also builds a foundation that sets children up for great psychosocial and academic success.

I‘m a firm believer in gentle, respectful, and positive caregiving practices and have seen firsthand how effective they are. When guiding children through difficult moments and feelings, I will always choose connection, understanding, compassion, and empathy over criticism and punishment. It is my responsibility as the caregiver to model appropriate behavior and coping skills while embracing a child that is unable to self-regulate. I’m resourceful, proactive, and prepared to jump in and lend a helping hand or a sympathetic ear.

My advanced skill set includes baby-proofing, sleep, potty training, baby-led weaning/intro to solids, emotional co-regulation, safe allergen introduction, assisting with elementary homework, coordinating complex family schedules, and sibling conflict resolution.

I look forward to supporting and growing with a new family soon!
