About me

I grew up in China Shanghai, I fell in love with singing, dancing, and painting, and I love staying with kids. And I went on to East China Normal University to study preschool education for children. I also got a teacher's license in China. I can play the piano. I can draw and sing well with children. I have a special skill to teach Mandarin to children. I can teach children how to learn, especially for verbal memory. I worked in Shanghai China kindergarten as a teacher for more than 10 years until I immigrated to the US New York. The phrase “children are the future” really resonates with me. It reminds me that they are going to be the next creators of our world and that we are their teachers. My goal is to help children create a more loving and peaceful world for all of us. I’ve read that the first 6 years of a child’s life design who they will essentially be for life. I believe if we really hone in on this and be mindful and loving when we raise our children, they can grow up to be outstanding beings of the world. I’d like to help them become these people!
In 2008 I immigrated to the USA and I worked as a babysitter while studying at college. In New York, my college major was medical assistant, but quickly, I started nannying. Since 2008 I was sitting after school with a family with children ages 4 and 2. Duties included picking the girl up from school, providing a snack, homework help, meal prepping, and putting the girl and her toddler brother. While I babysat this family, I worked with another family as well. Then, I worked with the second family until March of 2020. When I was doing this three days a week nanny Job at the same time I finished college, after that, I worked part-time at this college as a student adviser until 2017 February. I found a family part-time nanny job for two children, ages 5 and 7. My duties were early morning, around 7 am arrival ready breakfast for the family, then on time send boys to school. Then afternoon around 3 pm, I got some snacks, picked the boys up at school, and send them to after-school activities and classes. When boys after class study back home dinner and help boys homework. In the year 2020 during the Covid year boys stayed home online school for a year since then I went from part-time nanny to full-time nanny for this family. In the online school year, we had a very special and happy year with the boys and their parents. I worked for this family until this year in June, they move to London. During this year I want to meet new families and new children.
