About me

Hi there! My name is Samantha Wojtaszek and I am 26 years old, originally from Huntington Beach, California. I attended Cal State Fullerton and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. I just moved to New York and I am so excited to start my childcare journey here. At age 13 I started my first business around the neighborhood passing out flyers telling everyone I was the sitter for them! My little brother is 11 years younger than me and when he was born I helped raise him. For that reason, I am very comfortable taking care of newborns and all the responsibilities that come along with them. I am comfortable watching children of all ages. The last family I worked with had four boys ages 1, 7, 10, and 12. I am also very comfortable watching more than one child at a time. I always make sure to maintain a child-friendly environment with engaging activities and continuous access to the outdoors. I have also worked with children on the spectrum and am very comfortable working with children with any other learning disabilities. I will maintain an accurate daily schedule of the child's activities, meals, and naps and give detailed daily reports to parents that outline the child's day upon request. I absolutely love to cook and one of my favorite things is making healthy meals that I know kids will love. One of my jobs in college was being a Princess for kids' Birthday parties, so I knew I can handle any situation thrown at me- dance parties are of course a must!
