About me

I was born and raised on the upper west side. I still live on the upper west side now I am raising my sons in the same neighborhood I grew up in. I have seen my area change and the city as well. I know NYC like the back of my hand. I have 4 boys, one is in the Navy, two are in high school, and an 8-year-old. I am the oldest of three. I have one brother and one sister. I was always taking care of them and teaching and helping them with homework. I also babysat them when my mom had to run errands or go on a date night with my dad. My brother and I are five years apart, and my sister and I are 12 years apart. When my sister was a baby, I would help my mother change her diapers and feed her. I loved it!
   I love the outdoors. I am always doing something. With my kids, I would always do the free events in the city. I would do concerts, art, music events, etc. I would also do a lot of cultural festivals, events, and restaurants. We would go to the beach, hiking, the river, museums, etc. The best was the car show and comic con. Halloween is our favorite holiday. I am a jewelry and crochet designer. I have been crocheting since I was eight years old! I learned from my mother. I sell the creations I make at different events and festivals, wherever they have vendors.
   I have been doing nanny work for the past 10 years. I have taken care of infants 4 weeks old to 12 years old. I still keep in touch with all of them. When I was in high school, I babysat after school. Can you believe I have been to some of their weddings and baby showers? I love that we are still family like that. I feel that a nanny is part of your family. We see your kids grow through the years of us taking care of them. I love them like they are my own. It takes a special person to do this job. You have to love, care, and take the child under your wing like they are your own.
