About me

Even as a kid, I adored caring for kids! Growing up the second oldest of four children, I learned how to communicate with and care for my younger siblings. In addition to caring for kids, I developed a love for art. Thus, I graduated with a Bachelor's of Music in Musical Theatre. Unknowingly, this increased my ability to empathize with and understand children. I have learned how to invest myself in their hobbies in order to build a sense of trust and friendship.

Since graduation, I have worked as both a nanny and a sitter. I have managed the schedules of the children I watch, including picking them up from school and taking them to after-school activities. I have executed light housekeeping by doing laundry, dishwashing, cooking, tidying up the children’s play space .I have helped with homework and ongoing educational development by having regular hours to introduce discipline and mindful consistency. I have also changed diapers and helped with potty training. Currently, I am in the process of completing a Child Psychology; Neuroscience, and Development course. This science-based class will further strengthen my communication skills and my knowledge of the child/youth psyche. I am also enrolled in a course about neurodiversity as it relates to childcare.

Outside of sitting, I love playing guitar, reading, and spending time with my friends! I also volunteer with homeless care programs and am always down to see a great film! I hope to share my loves and passions with the kids I care for as well as learn some new ones from them. Childcare is one of my joys. I would love to continue to provide care and support wherever possible.
