About me

Growing up right outside of Manhattan, where options are endless, the most precious moments of my childhood were where I had the freedom to play, explore, and connect. 3 brothers kept me on my toes, supportive parents allowed me to make choices free of judgment, and a large extended family helped me realize the true importance of family. I’ve always had a passion for theatre. When it came time to go to college, I never imagined pursuing anything else. However, I soon realized it wasn’t my path. Taking a break was the best decision I’ve ever made because it led me to my true calling.
I have more than 15 years of full-time childcare experience, with children ranging in age from newborn until pre-teen. I’ve worked exclusively for 3 families. With my first family, the ages and genders of children upon hire were 3-month-old boy/girl twins and a 3-year-old boy. This position evolved greatly over the span of 8 years. I planned day-to-day activities that kept each child’s unique needs in mind. Took children to activities and classes, scheduled playdates, planned daily outdoor time, light meal preparation, and tidied toys. As the children grew, my hours shifted so that I could provide homework help and implement bedtime routines. With my second family, the ages and genders of children upon hire were a 23-month-old boy and a newborn boy. I made sure they hit their milestones by implementing activities that were not only educational but fun, planned daily outdoor excursions to the park and library, meal planned and prepped, and potty-trained. In my last role, the ages and genders of children upon hire were a 4-month-old baby boy (2018) and a 4-month-old baby boy (2020) The second child was born during Covid thus, the family decided to isolate for 4 months. I prioritized fun with age-appropriate activities that included imaginative, outdoor, and sensory play, kept the children on proper food and sleep schedules, bathed and dressed children, took children to activities and classes, scheduled playdates, meal planned, and prepped (which I tried to involve the children in as much as possible), provided light housekeeping duties (dishes, laundry, and basic tidying), and organized toys, drawers, and closets for the children.
I’m a high-energy, fun-loving nanny that understands the importance of fostering a safe environment while navigating the fast-paced hustle and bustle of urban life. Boasting playful energy, I encourage reading and silliness. Joyful and kind, I believe in outdoor adventures and the endless possibilities of pretend play. A flexible, versatile team player who always tries to meet each family’s unique set of needs and concerns with open lines of communication and honesty.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

I love to cook and bake with children. It gives them a sense of pride, accomplishment and teaches them about delayed gratification. I also love reading and pretend play. Spending time outside and appreciating nature so they can connect with their surroundings. Above everything, I try to model kindness and empathy.
