About me

I grew up in Houston, Texas, and have 2 younger brothers and lots of younger cousins (I'm the oldest) so I've been a built-in babysitter for the majority of my life and loved it! I went to Savannah College of Art and Design and received a BFA in Fashion Design. I've been a nanny/babysitter on and off for about the last 9 years (prior to moving to NYC). After graduating from college I moved to Berlin and traveled around and was looking for work and then got a job as an au pair in Milan but unfortunately covid hit Italy 2 weeks before I was supposed to arrive. So I moved back home to Houston for a year where I continued nannying/babysitting more full time. I eventually moved to NYC end of 2020 and have been doing other jobs since but decided it was time to get back into nannying!

As I mentioned, I've basically been working with children my whole life but my specific experience includes infants to age 14. I would change diapers, go on walks, play in the park, pick up from school, walk the dog, take to after-school activities, cook, help with homework, babysitting in the evenings, stay overnight when needed, etc. The titles I've held have been part-time babysitter, date night sitter, and part-time nanny.

I think the development of a child is so cool and fascinating and I'm constantly learning new things from them as they are from me. I love cultivating a safe, positive, encouraging, creative environment for them. I'm also super organized and have strong communication skills.
