About me

My name is Sonia and I am a 25-year-old female. I grew up in Union/Somerset counties in NJ and attended Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. I have been babysitting for multiple families throughout north NJ for 10+ years. I once was a camp counselor but started babysitting during my free time in high school. I have worked with various different age groups and also with special needs children. I have always been very close with the kids and families I worked for.

Some of my responsibilities as a caregiver consisted of driving the kids to and from after-school activities, preparing dinner, assisting with homework and school prep, distributing medications, assisting with nighttime prep such as bathing and brushing teeth, and putting the kids down for bed. I love getting involved in the kids' hobbies. Some of my favorite babysitting memories include baking, taking nature walks, playing board games, and movie nights! When I am with the kids I put all of my energy and attention into caring for them. I have been very lucky with previous families I have worked for and gotten very close to many parents!

I love being a helping hand for families in need! I am very open-minded and love getting to know each child as they uniquely are. I am thankful for the opportunity in getting to assist with family care.
