About me
I am a childcare provider with a great deal of experience, both professionally and personally. Having grown up in a very cultural household, my role as a second mother to my 4 siblings was a given. In spite of being born in another country, my mother always made sure our culture lived on. My sister was a newborn at the time, and I remember waking up early three times a week before anyone else to prepare bottles for her. While most siblings would be excited to play with their siblings, I simply wanted a chance to be able to take care of each of them at each stage. As a result of that experience, I gained a great deal of knowledge and, more importantly, I realized where I wanted to pursue my career. I took 2 years off from college to help my mom after she gave birth to a beautiful boy. I held him every day from the moment he was born and had the chance to be a part of the journey fully. As an infant care provider, I have worked with children as young as two months old. My love for children comes from my careful and vigilant approach to them. Being fully vaccinated, boosted, and having the flu shot, I am aware of the importance of staying healthy around children. Additionally, I'm an open-minded individual who is ready to learn as much as I can and willing to help out as much as I can. Health and fitness play an important role in a child's physical development as well as active play on a day-to-day basis, so I pride myself on working out as much as I can.

In 5 years, I hope to be...
My goal is to remain involved with a family for the next five years, as I believe it is essential for a career such as this to gain experience alongside a family. Additionally, I look forward to finishing school and seeing what steps I can take in my life, such as starting a family of my own or venturing out as a nanny even more.
Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...
In many of my jobs, I have taught babies their ABCs at 6 and 7 months old sometimes in different languages depending on what the parents prefer. I would also love to apply the Montessori method of education. Montessori is an activity-based method of learning that has proven successful.
