About me

Being an Aunt has been one of the things I’m most proud of. To have the front row seat of watching my nephews and nieces grow, flourish, and continue to prosper has been such a treat. Becoming an Aunt at the age of 10 was the spark and overall interest in childcare. Being the youngest of five children wasn’t easy but watching my older sibling grow and set examples of wrongs from right inspired me to do the same as well. I’ve learned how important is to have an educational background. Since then I’ve completed a bachelor's in communication and I’m currently pursuing a master's.

Growing up in Brooklyn, New York also played a significant role in who I am today. Migrating from South America I’ve learned and become accustomed to the goods life has to offer. Having the opportunity to be raised in a diverse, creative, artistic, and social society helped mold me. Nonetheless, having experience with multiple families of various cultural backgrounds has enlightened me that although we may appear different we’re more similar than we think. Playing different roles as a nanny whether it was Full-Time or part-time work, also made me realize that we’re often seen as role models.

To know that we are responsible for future generations, it’s vital to always be an example. My nephews, nieces, and
the former children I took care of look up to me because of how to emphasize the importance of education, finding things that interest you, always expressing and being your most authentic self, being compassionate, having integrity, and most importantly to never settle. Although with those traits is what I take pride in being a childcare provider and why I love what I do.
