About me

Since I was first asked, “what I wanted to be when I grow up,” I responded very confidently with “I want to be a teacher.” Teaching others something new and seeing them grow, as a person has always been a passion of mine. I love learning and I thoroughly enjoy seeing children learn and grow. Over the past 8 years, I’ve had absolute pleasure of working with a few families as a babysitter, and have been a dance teacher for children summer camps and high school musicals. I’m a performing artist, so I’m consistently creating and trying new things. Having a lot of energy and organizational skills has led me to work as a teaching artist. I'm full of energy when teaching music, acting, and dance. I enjoy outdoor sports, cooking and laughing. I like to create a fun yet safe environment for the children I’m working with and myself.

I’ve worked with children from infancy to young adulthood. Working with a large age range of children, I have learned hands-on what different age groups need and want. I like to share new activities with children. Whether it’s discovering a new game, expanding on the activities that they enjoy, or having them assists me in preparations for dinner; there will always be something new and exciting. Although I’m very adventurous, I know that all children are different and I can adapt my plans to each child’s personality and needs.
