About me

I’m from the Dominican Republic. Have 10 siblings, I’m the youngest one. As a child, I loved outdoor activities, animals, playing with dolls, and jumping ropes. I graduated from high school in my country. In the US, I went to BMCC, in Manhattan and graduated with an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. After that, I went to Hunter College for 3 semesters but haven't yet finished my bachelor's degree.
I have been working as a babysitter for more than 25 years. I have been working with children of all ages, with multiples, twins, and single children. I started working as a babysitter because I wanted to spend more time with my own kids. A lot of times, I was able to bring them with me to work and all the families who had the chance to meet them, and they loved them. Actually, some of them are close friends with my two children. My children are young adults now. I did almost everything for all those kids. Cook their meals, gave them baths, changed their diapers, and took them to the parks, play days, museums, and the beach. Sometimes some of them had slept over in my place.
I like outdoor activities, and that is one of the reasons why I love this job. I love children of all ages and do my best to keep them safe and loved while they are with me. If I have the opportunity, I love to teach them Spanish.
