About me

I am now a childcare provider with over 8 years of experience in education as well as babysitting. Looking for a part or full-time, live-out, long-term position in NYC. I have worked as a babysitter and nanny for as long as I can remember! My mother was my elementary school principal so childcare has been a part of my upbringing. The energy, curiosity, and honesty that come from working with children make this work incredibly rewarding. My role is to be an extension of exactly what parents want for their children so that they maintain a sense of consistent love & support while they are away. The best part of childcare is working as a team. Helping busy parents enjoy their time with their children by helping to ease the day-to-day responsibilities of their care is what makes me feel successful.

I grew up in South Florida and spent time studying theater at Florida State in Tallahassee, London Theatre Academy in England, and at Fordham University in Manhattan. I love the arts in all capacities and find such reward in sharing these skills with children as a teacher or performer. I now teach ballet and music classes to preschool-aged students. In the past, I have run performing arts camps for children aged 1-11, and taught yoga to the same age group. I have a passion for fitness and sports outside of my theater work and I used this skill when i worked as a house mom at a Memphis-based group home for foster children. These girls and boys were ages 11-17. At that job, I was certified in CPR/First Aid, Crisis Prevention Intervention, and Strategic Listening. I also became a teen outreach program facilitator. I headed recycling and community initiatives.
