About me

I grew up in northern California, the oldest of three sisters - some of my favorite childhood memories are exploring redwood forests and nearby beaches. As a kid, I did ballet, soccer, and swimming, and I threw myself at any opportunity to be onstage. Eventually, I received my BFA in Acting from UC Santa Barbara and an MFA in Contemporary Performance at Naropa University. After graduation, I moved to NYC to pursue acting and writing, and here I am!

My mom is a kindergarten teacher, and I spent a lot of time in her classroom growing up - I also helped my little sisters and cousins from an early age, so working in childcare and kids' creative programs always felt like a natural leap. I've been babysitting since my teens and started nannying in about 2014. Since then, I've worked with kids of all ages! I have a lot of experience with infants and toddlers, and I've also supported kids with special needs like ADHD and autism. I know a touch of baby sign language, and I can sing and read simple books in French and Spanish. I've also provided swimming instruction, worked at several day camps, and currently teach children's yoga and infant playgroup classes.

Feeling safe, cared for, and embraced as you are in childhood is so fundamental to a lifelong sense of comfort and well-being, and I choose my words and actions thoughtfully with that long-term responsibility in mind. I've really valued the relationships I've built over my years in childcare, and I'm so looking forward to meeting new families!

In 5 years, I hope to be...

Working in the NYC public school system as an occupational therapist, writing and performing my own work in some gritty downtown theater, and (dare I dream?) living somewhere with in-unit laundry!

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

Theater, singing, drawing, writing - any creative activity! I can give very basic instruction in yoga and meditation, and I also love swimming, soccer, and teaching kids the names of birds and plants we encounter on our adventures outside.
