About me

I was born and raised in Union, New Jersey - which is about 30 minutes outside of New York City. I am the baby of my family, with an older brother and sister, who have taught me all I need to know about the importance of family! As a kid, I was very active and played many different sports such as soccer, gymnastics, basketball, and tennis. But I fell in love with swimming which I began in third grade and have recently stopped competing in 2019, after my freshman year of college. I will be graduating May 2022 from Pace University with an advertising and marketing degree and a minor in fashion marketing!
I have been watching children since I was 15 years old, baby-sitting and camp counseling was how I spent my summers. I have babysat children from the ages of 4 months old to 12. I became a nanny for a wonderful family in the summer of 2018 until 2020, where I helped look after their two children, who were 4 and 7 when I began working with them. I would play games, work on puzzles, and go to the park daily with them. I also assisted with housekeeping duties as well as cooked meals for the children. Along with that family, in the summer of 2021 I was a nanny for one girl, aged 9, where I would travel with the family to their summer home. Duties included creating different actives for her, monitoring her schedules, and assisting her with swimming!
Along with babysitting and nannying, I have also been a missionary for Mission Haiti Helping Kids since I was 11 years old. I have helped work at my aunt’s orphanages in Haiti since 2011, working with children of all ages. While in Haiti, I helped organize and teach the children English and Math classes, arts and crafts, and other activities for the children at MHHK. I was also responsible for setting up the Saturday’s Kids Program which was a program set up for the neighborhood children, where they would receive a hot meal, vitamins, and play games. These experiences have truly changed my life for the better and helped me realize that my love for children is something I want to pursue long-term!
