About me

I’m a professional nanny hailing from Southern California, I grew up in Los Angeles with one much younger sister. You can definitely say that was my introduction to child care. Being the oldest sibling, I naturally looked after my sister. Picking her up from school, taking her to classes, and making sure she always got home safely. I attended Culver City High School and soon after I graduated, my passion for singing, music, and art brought me to New York City.

My path into childcare was led by a genuine love of creativity and imagination. Being around children is great for the artist's soul. With over 10 years of professional experience in childcare, I have worked with a broad range of children from the age of newborn to 7 years old. For example one of the first families I worked with was a family with three girls. I balanced a busy schedule with a newborn, 3 and 5 year old. I engaged the girls through creative play, crafts, baking, and lots of outdoor play. My responsibilities included making lunch, dinner, school pick up and drop off, planned playdates, and escorting to classes. Another example is a family I spent four years with, the boys were 1 and 3 years. My duties included the boy's laundry, light meal preparation, and grocery shopping. Keeping the kids engaged at this household looked like imaginative play, building, and play-time at the park. I also made myself available for date nights and domestic travel.

Working with children is something that I find stimulating and rewarding. Children have the unlimited ability to tap into their imagination and spark creativity, all from a place of innocence. A fulfilling aspect of working in childcare is that you really are impacting the children that you work with. Through positive reinforcement, creative play, and educational games you’re enriching and developing young minds and building self-esteem. I aim to create warm, and nurturing environments where children feel free to express themselves and grow to their maximum potential.

All the families I have worked for have been unique and have taught me as much as I have them. I look forward to sharing my experience and love of children with your family.

Activities & skills I love to teach & share with children...

There are so many things I love to do with kids! My top three would be sharing music, cooking and freeze dance. To explain further,I love sharing different genres of music with kids and seeing what they gravitate towards and what gets them going. Cooking with kids is great because its fun to find different recipes to try and explore different flavors. Also a great learning opportunity if you're trying global flavors. Lastly, with freeze dance it's awesome to see kids let loose and allow their personality to come through the movement of dance. They get exercise and improve their coordination while having fun!
