About me

I grew up in Memphis, TN, and was the youngest of four. Growing up, I was very involved with music, theatre, dance, and fitness. I went on to gain my Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre from Baldwin Wallace University in Cleveland, OH. I studied abroad for a semester at The Danish National School of Performing Arts in Frederica, Denmark. I fell in love with traveling during my time abroad and visited many countries with my peers at school. My love for fitness grew during college, and I went on to gain my fitness certification from ACE. I have performed all over the country doing musicals, plays, and reality television.
I volunteered at Madonna Learning Center, an inclusion school, as an assistant teacher for the after-school theatre and yoga class in high school. It was such a significant opportunity for me because I could tie three of my biggest passions: fitness, the arts, and the neuro-diverse community. My love for this community began to grow, and I taught drama and music to students with special needs in Florida before relocating to NYC.
My favorite part of the childcare industry is the gratitude I leave after working with the students/children. Children’s perspective on life is beautiful to see first hand, and I always leave a much more grateful and open individual. It is very fulfilling to feel like I am helping a child grow into themselves and witness many discoveries being made.
